Shabbat
At Beit Chaverim, Shabbat is the soul of our community — a sacred time when we step away from the pace of daily life and enter a space of holiness, connection, and renewal.
Friday Night Services
As the sun sets and candles are kindled, we gather to welcome the Shabbat bride with a spirited Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv service. Our sanctuary fills with melodies that lift the soul and prayers that open the heart. Whether you are a lifelong member or joining us for the first time, you’ll find a warm embrace and a sense of belonging that transcends words.
Shabbat Morning Services
Our Shabbat morning tefillot weave together ancient traditions and contemporary meaning. Through Shacharit, Torah reading, and Musaf, we celebrate the beauty of our heritage while reflecting on the timeless lessons of the weekly parsha. Thoughtful divrei Torah from our rabbi and members of the community inspire us to bring Shabbat’s light into our lives throughout the week. Youth programs engage our youngest members, nurturing their love for Shabbat in a joyful and welcoming environment.
Our Community Kiddush
After services, we come together for our beloved Kiddush luncheon — a feast not only for the body but for the spirit. Here, friendships blossom, life’s milestones are shared, and the bonds of community are deepened. Kiddush at Beit Chaverim is a joyous extension of the sanctuary — a place where laughter, conversation, and connection sanctify the day just as much as prayer.
At Beit Chaverim, Shabbat is not only a day of rest; it is a weekly homecoming — a time to rejoice, to reflect, and to remember who we are, together. We invite you to join us and experience the beauty, the warmth, and the soul of Shabbat with our community.
