Strategies For Parenting Children in a Technological Age

Join Carmel Academy on Monday, February 11th for an evening with author Naomi Schaefer Riley, who will discuss her new book “Be The Parent Please: Stop Banning Seesaws and Start Banning Snapchat.” Schaefer Riley, a former Wall Street Journal writer and mother of three, explores the latest research about the effects of technology usage on children and gives realistic advice to parents on how to monitor and control technology and social media. Carmel Academy Hosts Escape Room Challenge For Prospective Middle School Students

 

Carmel Academy invites prospective middle school students and their parents to unlock the magic of a Carmel education at its Escape Room Challenge & Middle School Open House on Thursday, February 28th, 270 Lake Avenue, Greenwich, CT. Join Carmel Academy for a dairy dinner at 5:15 p.m. immediately followed at 6:15 p.m. for an Open House program. Children will participate in an exciting Escape Room Challenge that will provide a glimpse into Carmel’s middle school learning and student life. Parents will have the opportunity to experience Carmel Academy academics and curriculum through model classes, meet with the Middle School’s exceptional faculty, and hear from Head of School Nora Anderson about what to look forward to as children transition to their middle years.
